If you’ve ever wondered how to exercise in a way that actually supports your body as it ages — without fear, pain, or confusion — The Fix™ was created for you.
I’m Karen Roberts, Chartered Physiotherapist, and for over 35 years I’ve worked with people of all ages and diagnoses who want one simple thing: To move through everyday life with confidence, strength, and control.
The Fix™ is not about pushing harder or doing more. It’s about learning how your body is meant to move — and letting the core do the work it was designed to do.
The Fix™ is a series of videos, separated into what I call the ‘4 Pillars of Fitness’. These exercises are chair‑based, standing and done on the floor or bed. This is a functional movement class designed to integrate strength using daily tasks driven by the True Core™.
Every movement is:
You can use The Fix™:
Either way, it will change how you think and feel about how your body works.
As we get older, many of us believe we need stronger arms and legs;
It’s not enough – here’s the truth:
👉 If movement doesn’t start at the True Core™, the body compensates , sometimes using the wrong muscles— and problems begin.
Poor posture. Loss of balance. Stiff hips. Pain. Fear of movement.
The Fix™ retrains your body so the core does 90% of the work, allowing your limbs to move freely, efficiently, and safely.
When the True Core™ is in control:
Every movement in The Fix™ allows you to strengthen in real-time:
This is functional movement, not choreography.
The confidence grows. The body responds.
It should be your first class you take.
It could be the only class you need.
It will establish your fitness foundations for life.
The Fix™ is suitable for:
You don’t need to be fit.
You don’t need to be flexible.
Your body just needs you to show up.
With consistent practice, people notice:
Most importantly:
You begin to believe in your body again.

This is about taking care of yourself so you can age with confidence, and it starts with understanding how you move.
Hi. I’m Karen, a Physiotherapist with 37+ years of experience in neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation and treatment. I trained and worked in the U.S. in my early career, but now work and live in Ireland, using my considerable expertise and experience to advance the cause of preventative physical health and promote perpetual wellness.
My incredible early work experience, especially my 3 years of work in an innovative chronic pain treatment program, set in motion the pathway that has brought me to this very moment: the fully realized idea you can utilize each movement we do and each posture we assume, as a way to drive strength and power back into the body creating perpetual fitness for lifelong physical wellness.
This series is good for anyone of all adult ages who want to, create an easy way to start a fitness program, to understand their body better, to improve the fitness they have, to know if there is any way to avoid joint or back problems, or want to know is it possible to keep pace with aging.
Our expert uses a combination of education, humour, visual diagrams, hands-on guidance, and interactive exercises and training done either on the floor , in standing, or from a chair. All exercises and training techniques are tailored to the participants physical needs.
The course is split into 5 videos:
To be completed at your own pace.
It takes approximately 6 weeks of consistent training to achieve the proper muscular strength required for functional tasks. Flexibility techniques are explained in the videos and are very specific to your own level of tension; final results are based on achieving two criteria for all muscle groups.
There are no specific requirements but it is recommended you have an exercise mat and towel(s) on hand. There are alternatives included in the videos for doing the exercises from a chair, so you might need a chair for those…
As with any exercise, if you feel unsure about starting any unfamiliar exercise class you may want to have someone else standing by at the beginning of the programme. If you have any doubts about any of the exercises, especially the cardio portion, please consult your GP.
Gentle. Functional. Powerful movement — designed for real life.
